Quentin Lorente is a Ph.D. student in human-centered design and machine learning using the digital twin approach for predictive maintenance of helicopter engines, within the FlexTech Chair, He is currently working for Safran Helicopter Engines(Tarnos), He belongs to Bordeaux doctoral school and ESTIA-Research group in Bidart, France.

He holds an engineeering degree (Master equivalent) from ENSC (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Cognitique). Quentin's background is in cognitive engineering, which consists in the analysis and design of human-machine interfaces, human factor and augmented cognition, human-system integration (HSI) and digital technologies, artificial intelligence, collaborative work and risk management, intelligent assistance, and knowledge management.
